I had made a quite big collection of sci-fi episodes in various
MPEG-4 formats, so I was seeking an easier way to watch them
than noisy PC with TV-Out. I was hoping that I could find a
DivX player with karaoke functions (both supported by MTK chipset),
but there was either DivX or karaoke models available in my town.
I already had a karaoke enabled player,
so I spend 89 Euros to United DVX6069 knowing that there was enchanced
firmwares floating around the Net. Dangaard (FIN) offered official firmawares and region free instructions.
