I purchased many years ago this fancy PAL thingy designed by Jeri, the queen of the nerds. Sadly The Thing had bad color bug and other minor issues. On positive side, DTV is actually nearly full C64 having contact points for second joystick port, AT (PS/2) keyboard and IEC/floppy.

V2/V3 versions are famous for incorrectly sized resistor ladder in the video DAC and also missing a resistor to ground.
I applied Spiff's (easier) LumaFix and added 220R parallel resistors to those tiny R16, R20, R24 resistors (680R).
The missing 330R resistor would be much easier to solder and cleaner looking as smaller 1/8W resistor.

Some bad quality solder work and cracked oversized resistor. Please do better.
In the end, there will be hopefully 2 joystick ports, IEC, S-Video out and genuine Commodore keyboard.
The red LED acts as 1.8V reference for 3V3 voltage generator circuit.
I fixed it permanently, so that I do not accidentally power on the Thingy without it.
There is also pin headers for the video-out and PSU.

joyA AKA port2 cable connected.
To get all those extras in, a case is needed.
